My other hobby, the Nekaf (M38A1).
Complete with a functional AN/GRC-9 set, the Nekaf (M38A1) is also provided with the necessary equipment.
The Nekaf was built from 1955 thru 1960 in the Dutch Kaiser-Fraser factories. This factory produced Jeeps, of original American
design, built for The Netherlands and it's allies. The Dutch army has had 7,300 Nekaf's in use. In the mid 1960's
the Nekaf was replaced by the DKW Munga, initially for active duty forces. This transition was however not successful. The Munga needed to be
replaced within the planned 10 years. As a result, Nekafs had been called back from the reserve units to be replaced in the late 1970's by
the Landrover. At some reserve units the Nekaf even survived the Landrover to be replaced by the Mercedes G-serial. The
last Nekaf was replaced in 2000. Far exceeding it service life, it was retired after
